  • NPC Tuning - use these settings to tune certain NPC’s

    • Enable Tuning - if Enabled Tuning Options will take effect otherwise not 

    • Butler

      • Needs - use these settings to Enabled or Disabled certain Needs for this NPC

      • Roles Timeouts - use these settings to adjust roles timeouts

    • Nanny

      • Needs - use these settings to Enabled or Disabled certain Needs for this NPC

 

  • Sims Settings - settings to control sims that mod will use for NPCJob assignments

    • Other Households - if Enabled sims from Other Households will be used

    • My Households - if Enabled sims from My Households will be used

    • Unplayed Households - if Enabled sims from Unplayed Household will be used

    • Played Households - if Enabled sims from Played Households will be used

    • Homeless - if Enabled Homeless sims will be used

    • Residents - if Enabled sims with homes will be used

    • Use Homeless And Residents For Normal Career - if Enabled, for NPC Jobs with active careers (Detective, Doctor, Scientist, Actor) Homeless and Resident sims are used

    • Famous - if Enabled Famous sims will be used

    • Fameless - if Enabled Fameless sims will be used

    • Use Selected - if Enabled your Selected Sims will be used

    • Selected Sims - use this option to select sims via SimPicker menu. Please note that this option is game-bound, so if you have several games, each with a different set of sims, please keep a separate copy of npcc.cfg for each game.

    • Use Settings After Selected - if Enabled Sim Settings will be used in case none of your Selected Sims fits the criteria (for example age or single household criteria)

    • Do Not Generate New Sims - if Enabled no new sims will be generated in case none of the existing sims fits the criteria. Important sims like Father Winter should be excluded from that option, but if you'll come across any major issue with using that option - please turn it off and report.

    • Use Only Unplayed Households Pets - if Enabled, for in-game situations only pets from unplayed households are used

 

  • Do Not Generate - select categories of sims that should not be generated

    • Pet Walkers and Homeless Pets - if Enabled pet walkers and homeless pets will not be generated, it also controls the ghost of pets generated in the pets cemetery

    • Aliens - If enabled disguised aliens will not be generated, it also controls aliens generation in their world 

    • Sick Pets - If enabled for vet clinic no sick pets will be generated, existing ones will be used instead 

    • Tragic Clown - If enabled Tragic Clown will not be generated 

    • Vampires Walk By - If enabled vampire waklbys will not be generated 

    • Bears - If enabled bears will not be generated 

    • Weirdo - If enabled Weirdos in San Myshuno will not be generated 

    • University Ghosts - If enabled University Ghosts will not appear on university lots

    • Mascots - If enabled Mascots will not appear on university lots

    • Humanoid Bots - If enabled Humanoid Bots will not appear on university lots

 

  • Disable Child Fans - if enabled no child sims will show up as fans

 

  • Disable Elders for Active Careers - if enabled there will be no elder sims as coworkers for Detective, Doctor, Scientist, Actor Career

 

  • Limit Number Of Workers - use these settings to lower number of sims needed for NPCJobs

    • Disable Shifts - If enabled, disables work shifts for all jobs (bartender, librarian, etc.) in all cities, everyone should work the whole day, thereby reducing number of sims needed for the job

    • Remove Region Dependency - If enabled, one NPC for a given job can work in any city. If Disabled, each city will have its own NPC for a given job. In order to use as few NPC as possible, you need to Enable Both settings for the Region and for the Lot

    • Remove Lot Dependency - If enabled, one NPC for a given job can work at any lot in one city. If Disabled, each lot in a city will have its own NPC for a given job. In order to use as few NPC as possible, you need to Enable Both settings for the Region and for the Lot

    • Remove Region Dependency Exceptions - Defines lots for which Region dependency will work

    • Remove Lot Dependency Exceptions - Defines lots for which Lot dependency will work

  • Sim Count Settings - settings to modify the number of sims in various situations

    • Number Of Barflies - the setting works for all bars in all cities 

    • Number Of Museum Patrons Native - overall number of sims (native + tourist) in museum is set rigidly, but the ratio of these categories can vary

    • Number Of Museum Patrons Tourist - overall number of sims (native + tourist) in museum is set rigidly, but the ratio of these categories can vary 

    • Number Of Jungle Marketplace Craft Vendors - the number of vendors at the jungle market 

    • Number Of Jungle Marketplace Native Customers - overall number of sims (native + tourist) at the market is set rigidly, but the ratio of these categories can vary

    • Number Of Jungle Marketplace Tourists - overall number of sims (native + tourist) at the market is set rigidly, but the ratio of these categories can vary 

    • Number Of Background Actors - the number of background actors

    • Number Of Background Producers - the number of background producers

    • Number Of Strangerville Venue Sims - the number of Military sims at the Strangerville Bar and Scientist + Conspiracist sims at the Strangerville Library. For the library setting defines overall sims count but the ration of Scientists/Conspiracists can vary

    • Number Of Strangerville Walk by Sims - the number of Military + Scientist + Conspiracist + Agents walkby sims. Setting defines overall sims count but the ration of Military/Scientist/Conspiracist/Agent sims can vary 

    • Sulani Sim Count Modifier - controls number of walkby/swimming etc. sims on Sulani lots

    • Magic Sim Count Modifier - controls number of Magic apprentice sims on Magic HQ Lot

    • University Sim Count Modifier - controls number of sims on University lots 

 

  • Disable Random Accessories - use these settings to forbid sims in various situations to wear random hats, glasses, gloves, socks etc.

    • Tourist - if Enabled Tourists will not wear random hats, glasses, gloves, socks etc.

    • Spa Guest - if Enabled Spa Guests will not wear random hats, glasses, gloves, socks etc.

 

  • Disable Outfit - use these settings to change sim's outfits in various situations to Everyday outfit

    • Tourist - if Enabled Tourists will wear Everyday outfit

    • Magic Apprentice - if Enabled Magic apprentices will wear Everyday outfit

 

  • Enabled Object Workers - If Enabled Bartenders and DJs will work behind the bars/booths if you place ones on public lot (Gym, Pool, Library, Museum, Park, Cafe, Beach, Bar, Nightclub, Lounge, karaoke Bar, Arts Center, Spa and Restaurant). Multiple bars = multiple workers. Lot visitors should recognise new objects that and use them sometimes (order a drink, dance, etc.)

 

  • Enable Urnstone Collector - if Enabled when other sim dies somewhere (not on active lot) urn/tombstone will be placed in your active sim's inventory
